Based on the information shared by the public of the NTA-Privladzhe telecommunications agency, the conditions of the quarantine regime were introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod Region in connection with the identification of the danger of infection of local pigs with the African plague virus.
It became known that foci of infection can be recorded in such regions of the region as Dalnekonstantinovsky and Arzamassky. Starting from July 2, 2019, an official quarantine regime has been in force in the territories of these municipalities, the introduction of which has been ordered by authorized officers of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
It is noteworthy that the basis for establishing quarantine was the body of a dead wild boar found in the area listed in the assets of Universal-Finance-NN. It is known that the profile of this company is hunting, catching and shooting wild animals.
Representatives of the enterprise, having discovered the carcass of a wild boar, immediately contacted the competent services, and soon the biological material of the dead animal was on the table at the researchers. In laboratory conditions, it was possible to find out that the cause of death of the boar was an irreversible damage to the body by the African swine fever virus.
It is reported that after the cause of death was confirmed, the body of the animal was burned in accordance with the rules established in the Russian Federation. The remains of a wild boar were buried in the ground with the subsequent decontamination procedure.
