Representatives of the Novgorod Council on Climate Improvement agreed on an initiative from one of the regional plants for the production of biological fertilizers from chicken manure.
The program will receive generous investments, and implementation will begin in the very near future.
It is reported that the processing of litter of Novgorod chickens into organic fertilizer will begin this month. The main work will fall on the shoulders of the employees of the Belgrankorm-Veliky Novgorod enterprise, which is part of the BEZRK-Belgrankorm agro-industrial holding.Investors ordered machinery and equipment for the new enterprise in Japan: Asian specialists have rich and successful experience in manufacturing equipment for the production of environmentally friendly fertilizers.
It is reported that the process of manufacturing fertilizers from bird droppings will be simple, but as efficient as possible: raw materials from the droppings will be cut, mixed and treated with hot air. During the heat treatment, the activity of aerobic organisms will be significantly stimulated, and the harmful flora will be destroyed along with weed seeds. When the mass is dried, it will be processed into granules. According to Alexander Kotyash, who heads the Belgrankorm-Veliky Novgorod enterprise, the plant will be able to produce about a hundred tons of biological fertilizers daily.
