Nufarm Americas announced the approval by the US Environmental Protection Agency of Trunemco, a new nematode management technology used for sowing seeds, which provides higher yield profiles and less damage in soybeans, cotton and corn.

Trunemco seed treatment is a patented technology that brings plant physiology into action, activating natural barriers and optimizing protection. Its biochemical and microbial active substances provide double protection, both inside and outside, from nutrition and the formation of nematodes.

Trunemco protects against nematode damage, supporting root health and seedling energy, helping plants grow, providing higher yields.

Trunemco also offers easy handling due to its low level of use, warning signal and compatibility with most seed treatments.

“As nematodes begin to develop resistance to many resistant varieties, producers may not realize that they are not fully protected,” explained Tom Kroll, seed processing and technical services manager at Nufarm.
