The dairy cluster, which will be created in the near future in Transbaikalia, is designed to bring the dairy industry to a higher level.

According to specialists of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Territory, in the last days of 2018, at a meeting of the working group, a decision will be made regarding the “recovery” of the dairy sector of Transbaikalia. In particular, it will focus on the association of milk producers in a cluster. Among the first who agreed to become part of the association, one can name the ZabaykalAgro dairy and the dairy shops of the Beklemishevskoye enterprise.

It should be added that the regional administration has already placed the responsibility for optimizing the TransbaikalAgro on the shoulders of Trans-Baikal milkmen. It is known that the company is listed as a large debtor: lenders all expect more than 55 million rubles from the employees of the dairy.

“The company has not been able to pay its debts since the beginning of the spring of this year,” the regional administration notes. “We urgently need to resolve the issue, take action and help milk producers deal with the problems that have arisen.”

To resolve the situation, the head of the region is considering the experience of the competent distribution of subsidies in the field of dairy production, drawing on the experience of neighboring regions. In addition, the issue of increasing the production of milk and dairy products in Transbaikalia is being resolved.
