Having moved to Zaporozhye, the German Matthias Hentze married a Ukrainian woman and set about equipping the household. Spouses grow asparagus and artichokes in their farm in the village of Kanevskoye, Zaporizhzhya region. In addition, farmers breed unique black and blue chickens.
On the farms of Matthias and Inga Henze there are about 100 ordinary chickens, there are also outlandish black and blue birds. The spouses are already selling eggs from exotic chickens; meat has not yet been sold.
In addition to chickens, the couple grow about 20 goats, from the milk of which cottage cheese is produced for sale. In the future, farmers plan to expand and improve this production, says Matthias Henze.
According to him, eggs of unusual hens are sold at 200 UAH / pc. They are not bought for food, but for the sake of raising strange birds. Black chicken carcass can cost up to 400 UAH / kg. Black chickens have meat of the same color. Farmers plan to offer this exotic product to restaurateurs who are engaged in oriental and Chinese cuisine.
Also, the Hentse couple broke an orchard. The couple plans to create their own successful business, which would ensure well-being for the whole family, as well as healthy nutrition and the ability to do what they love - to do land, poultry farming and animal husbandry.
Matthias Hentze is not going to return to his homeland and sees the future of his family and business in Ukraine.
