The Ministry of Agriculture of the Komi Republic is seriously determined to improve the condition of the local agro-industrial complex and implement several potentially profitable projects in the field of agriculture, vegetable growing, animal husbandry, etc.

Material assistance to the republican farmers will be provided by both local authorities and caring entrepreneurs, and the authorities of the Russian Federation. It is noteworthy that investments from the federal budget will make up 95% of all investments in the Komi agricultural sector.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, among other innovations in Komi, new types of food and light industry facilities will be created. Farm goods will be actively promoted both on the domestic market of Russia and far beyond the borders of the country. Komi butchers make a big bet on the sale of deer meat. A regional brand for this type of meat will be created specifically to activate sales of high-quality venison.

Farmers of the Komi Republic are convinced that over the next five years they will be able to involve more than 300 people in small and medium-sized enterprises in agriculture. Especially for this, the authorities of the Russian Federation will allocate about 18 million rubles from the state budget, which, together with 0.9 million rubles from the republican budget, will help Komi farmers successfully implement the program “Creating a system for supporting farmers and developing rural cooperation”.
