Slovakia has the largest bumblebee production in the world. hives in the New Castle for use as natural pollination in the greenhouse production of tomatoes and peppers, as well as for growing in open ground, for example, in gardens.
The company was created in the Netherlands more than 50 years ago by the founder and producer of cucumbers Jan Copper, who devoted himself to the search for natural alternatives to the use of chemicals in agricultural production after he himself was allergic to these products.
Currently, the company is a leader in the field of biological plant protection and natural pollination, and its solutions are used in more than 100 countries. In Nove Zamky you can see the full life cycle of the bumblebee, including the manual assembly of queens, workers and males, to start a new hive.
