According to EastFruit analysts, over the current season Ukraine has broken the record for export deliveries of frozen berries and fruits.

From June to April of the 2018/19 season. If you compare with the same period of the previous season, you can see that export of products increased by 42% in cash and by 35% in kind.

Ukrainian producers have shipped about 49 thousand tons of frozen fruits and berries to the world market this season.

Even considering its completion, export deliveries are still very large, says Andrei Yarmak, representative of the project for the export promotion of fruits and vegetables of Ukraine.

According to a specialist, the project has assisted many producers of berries and fruits, as well as other products from fruits and vegetables, in entering the markets of the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and other countries.

For information, the largest enterprise in the country for the manufacture and processing of frozen vegetables, berries and fruits is Smelyanskaya Chlodnya, located in the city of Smela, Cherkasy region. The company sends 90% of all manufactured products for export.
