Very often in the fall in wet, but warm weather in the forest, you can meet people who want to collect a little mushroom. One of the many species that can be found is a gray and inconspicuous-looking mushroom called earthy mushrooms.
Where does mushroom grow and what does mushroom look like?
Earthen rowing is a small mushroom with a gray hat measuring 3 to 9 cm in diameter. Under it are long plates of white or light gray. The leg has a milky hue and reaches a height of 4 to 8 cm.
Important! The earthy earth has an unusual smell similar to the aroma of freshly ground flour, so it cannot be confused with any other mushroom.
This species grows in pine or mixed forests of the Northern Hemisphere. It is almost impossible to see fruiting bodies one by one, most often row grow in groups. This mushroom belongs to the late and begins to bear fruit in October.
Edible or not, earthy rowing
The row can be eaten, as it does not contain toxic substances in its composition. This type is suitable for any culinary processing at home. It can be boiled, stewed, fried, and also cooked at the stake. In the Crimea, the described mushroom is the most common and is sold fresh or dried. Ryadovka has an interesting, unusual for other mushrooms taste and smell, which gives the potential dish a piquancy.
Chemical composition
The medium-sized specimen contains 2.15 g of protein, 3.26 g of carbohydrates and 0.34 g of fat. A relatively large amount of carbohydrates can negatively affect the body of people who are forced to diet. However, the forest representative contains a large amount of fiber, necessary to maintain the body in good shape.
The mushroom contains vitamins:
- B - 12 0.04 mcg;
- D - 2 0.2 μg;
- C - 2.1 mcg.
Useful properties of the mushroom
The usefulness of rowing is that due to its entry into the human digestive tract, the body is saturated with many useful minerals and vitamins. Systematic use of fruiting bodies helps improve the condition of people suffering from cardiovascular disease. This happens due to the normalization of the rhythm of the heartbeat. The chemical composition allows you to have anti-inflammatory effects and strengthen the immune system.

Camping in the forest with the aim of “quiet hunting” always causes a lot of positive emotions, because communication with nature has a beneficial effect on the mood and general well-being of a person. However, one should not forget that almost every representative of the third kingdom has inedible, poisonous counterparts with which it is easy to confuse edible specimens. Therefore, experts strongly recommend that you carefully inspect each mushroom before putting it in the basket.
