To date, on August 28, 2019, over three million four hundred sixty six thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested on the territory of agricultural and farmland of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Such information as part of an operational report was shared with a wide audience by representatives of the public relations department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
In addition, the department noted that by the same date of the previous year, the harvesting rate of farmers in grain and leguminous fields was significantly lower - only one million five hundred thirty thousand hectares had been worked out.
It is known that at the moment, farmers of the republic have mastered only twenty-three percent of the total field area. In total, Kazakh grain farmers will have to thresh fifteen million two hundred and fourteen thousand hectares.
The average yield on Kazakh fields with grain is twelve centners per hectare. A year earlier, the figure for the same date was fourteen and a half centners from each hectare mastered.
Among the leaders of the harvesting campaign, we can mention the farmers of the Zhambyl region (they threshed the entire planned volume for the season in the amount of seven hundred sixty three thousand two hundred tons of grain), as well as North Kazakhstan (seventeen and a half percent and seven hundred and fifteen thousand tons) and Almaty (sixty-one percent and five hundred and ninety one thousand tons). Grain grains of Kostanay and Turkestan regions are not far behind.
