At the press conference that took place this week in the Bryansk Region, the head of the regional administration, Alexander Bogomaz, informed the public about the prospects for the agro-industrial complex of the business entity entrusted to him.
In particular, the Bryansk governor said that cattle breeding today is the priority area of agriculture in the region.
And it is precisely this industry that the agrarians of the Bryansk region intend to actively develop in the first place. Their goal is to reach production volumes of eight hundred thousand tons of meat over the next three years.
According to Bogomaz, at the peak of its development, back in Soviet times, the livestock enterprises of the region provided the market with no more than eighty-eight thousand tons. Since then, little has changed. And in order to reach the desired indicators, it is necessary to at least ten times increase the pace of production.
Large investors from companies such as Miratorg and Okhotno are ready to provide all possible assistance in bringing the livestock industry in the Bryansk region to a new level.
They have been working on the basis of the region for a long time and intend to contribute in every possible way to increase indicators. Therefore, in the near future, several innovative complexes for raising pigs and meat processing will be commissioned in the region.
