According to Rosstat employees, who summed up the “salary” results of the Russian Federation in 2018, the lowest wage level for the country's residents in the hourly category was recorded among employees of agricultural sectors such as cattle breeding and crop production.
Rosstat shared such data in a table format with statistical information that was posted on the institution’s Internet portal. Based on this, Russian breeders and their colleagues involved in the cultivation of various crops, on average for their hour of work received wages in the amount of about one hundred eighty-six and a half rubles.
For comparison, we note that the Russians involved in the production of natural gas and oil received wages that are significantly higher than the “fees” of domestic farmers. So, the hour of work of oil and gas workers was estimated at an average of seven hundred ninety-three rubles.
Employees of tobacco companies received a little less - the average hourly payment of cigarette manufacturers was equal to seven hundred thirty-nine rubles in 2018.
Well, and those residents of Russia who were involved in the production of coke and petroleum products received almost four times more pay for their hourly labor than farmers and herders — a little more than seven hundred and thirty-four rubles.
However, it should be emphasized that not all employees of the agricultural sectors of the Russian Federation were paid a low salary. For example, workers in the fish farming and fishing industries received about six hundred twenty-seven rubles every hour.
