Data from the inflation barometer indicate that fat in Ukraine continues to rise in price.

Price experts associate the rise in price of pork and products from it with outbreaks of animal infection with the African swine fever virus, which resulted in the destruction of the lion's share of the livestock.

Note that from the first days of 2019 on the trading floors of Ukraine, not only fat but also other products have been growing in price, most of which can be attributed to everyday necessities. So, a kilogram of flour went up to 13.5 hryvnias, and rice increased in price to 27 hryvnias. Ukrainians buy pasta on average at a price of 44 hryvnias. Has risen in price to 62 hryvnias and a kilogram of sour cream.

But the cost of sunflower oil decreased to 36 hryvnia. Buckwheat groats, which are currently bought by Ukrainian consumers at a price of 21 hryvnias per kilogram package, fell slightly.
