The organizers had to cancel the annual conference on livestock care in connection with COVID-19, but they decided to move the event to a virtual platform.
Events, conferences, and schools are closing all over Alberta, Canada to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Alberta Farm Animal Care (AFAC) was one organization that decided to cancel its event, the annual pandemic cattle care conference.

The organizers were disappointed that they could not personally hold the conference, but they wanted to try and implement the theme of the conference this year and “raise the bar” and think about another way that they could offer this event.
They decided to go digital with LCC 2.0 on March 16th and are encouraging people to register on the AFAC website.
