The introduction of Italian varieties of unusually productive and high-quality wheat will occur in the impending sowing season in the fields of the Southern Urals. The farmers there received a potentially advantageous offer from the Agroliga of Russia holding and are now looking forward to starting the cultivation of first-class overseas raw materials.

It is noted that Italian wheat belongs to the so-called hard grain. It was developed by Italian breeders, relying on data on climatic conditions, soil characteristics and the chemical composition of water in the South Ural fields. This wheat favorably differs from that which was previously cultivated by Chelyabinsk grain growers.
It is noteworthy that wheat from Italy will grow in the fields that belong to the enterprises "State Farm Berdinsky" and "Yaik". Last year, employees of these enterprises tested the sowing of Italian grain and were satisfied with the results.
