According to employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, in the near future farmers of the country will be facilitated access to food markets with the subsequent sale of agricultural products.
Employees of the department have developed special amendments to the law "On retail markets."
According to the deputy head of the Ministry, Oksana Lut, the initiative involves the release of Russian farmers and livestock breeders from the seller’s card, which all realizing farmers should have had before.
Places for sale on universal markets will now be provided in a simplified form. The changes will affect both citizens who own personal subsidiary farms, vegetable gardens and orchards, farms and poultry farms, as well as managers and participants in peasant and farm farming.
Oksana Lut emphasized that removing administrative barriers will help reduce the time and financial costs of small agricultural producers that are associated with the sale of goods. Also, the deputy minister notes, the assortment will be expanded and the volume of farm products on market shelves will be increased.
