In Ukraine, 100 tons of trout are grown every year. One of the trout farms of the region, where tourists come, is "Old Vaga" in the village of Bronka, Irshava district.

In addition, in Ukraine there are not enough ichthyologists and fish veterinarians. The trout farms themselves, given the difficulty of raising fish, prefer to buy fry rather than grow them from eggs.
