The best solution in the fight against allergies is to destroy the allergen. But ragweed has already managed to spread throughout the territory of Transcarpathia. She chose the land damaged by people: abandoned fields, places near construction sites, in landfills and near roads. The strongest allergen not only spreads sharply, but also grows rapidly.
11 districts of the region are now in quarantine mode. The regional ambrosia control program is not yet functioning, and the developed project is awaiting adoption. But there are district-level programs.
The fight against ragweed should be conducted in private areas. Scientists recommend mowing ragweed 4 times throughout the summer before flowering begins. Then weed can be eliminated.
