On the territory of the village of Kutuzovka, which is located in the area named after Sergei Lazo of the Khabarovsk Territory, very soon one hundred and thirty goats say goodbye to life. The thing is that the animals were infected with the dangerous brucellosis virus.
Since the outbreak of the insidious virus was detected on the farm where the goats were kept, a quarantine regime has been established in the village.
All goats that have shown a positive reaction to brucellosis in laboratory conditions will be killed and their carcasses disposed of in accordance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements provided for in the Russian Federation.
Meanwhile, all those people who have been on the territory of the affected farm, starting in May 2019, are now forced to undergo a medical examination. They will also be vaccinated against brucellosis as part of the adoption of preventive measures, since this disease is equally dangerous for both livestock and humans.
As for the owner of the farm where the virus outbreak was registered, he does not yet have the right to purchase a new livestock over the next three months.
It will not be superfluous to note that goats at this enterprise were infected by their "sisters" - horned migrants from the village of Bijan, located in the Jewish Autonomous Okrug. It was there that the owner of the affected farm recently acquired several individuals.
