2018 has already gone down in history as one of the most fruitful in Ukraine. a historical maximum of crops was obtained.

The final report of the State Statistics Service regarding the harvested crop in 2018 showed that the country's historical production line for grain production in weight after completion at the level of 70,057 million tons was overcome.

At the same time, the level of productivity reached 47.4 c / ha. The highest volumes of harvested crops recorded in history, such as corn, sunflower, soybeans and sugar beets, were recorded. This fully ensured the state’s need for food and its food security.

In addition, great potential was opened for the sale of agricultural products abroad in the 2018/19 marketing year, the statement said the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Volodymyr Topchiy.

In total, in 2018 in Ukraine were collected:

• wheat - 24.6 million tons with a yield of 37.3 c / ha;
• corn - 35.8 million tons with a yield of 78.4 kg / ha;
• soybeans - 4.5 million tons with a yield of 25.8 kg / ha;
• sunflower - 14.2 million tons with a yield of 23 kg / ha.

Sugar beet in 2018 showed a yield of 508 kg / ha.
