A resident of the Ural city of Troitsk, 18 years of his life, lived under the name Roman Groshev. And, perhaps it would have continued like this if the local dumpling manufacturer hadn’t announced an unusual contest on social networks.

As part of this competition, participants were asked to change their name, as a result of which they could become the proud owner of a generous prize. As a reward to the winner, the semi-finished product manufacturers promised ... 200 kilograms of ravioli.

Roman became one of those who decided to compete for two centners of his favorite dish. As a result, the name that his parents gave him 18 years ago became irrelevant. Indeed, from now on in the documents of the guy another name is listed - Kondolsky Pelmen Marselevich.

Marveling at the effectiveness of her non-standard PR move, the administration of the Kondolsky Product semi-finished product company kept its promise and delivered its tasty win to the lucky winner.

Of course, the situation caused an unprecedented resonance both in the media and in the social networks of the Urals and Russia as a whole. A flurry of attention was obvious, ex-Groshev admits and adds: it is possible that in the near future he will again change his name in the documents. It remains only to assume whether the guy will take his former name or opt for another original name.
